Supports fast charging.

This device will charge quickly if you are using the proper charger. Using a 18w charger this charges completely in about 5 hours.Using a typical 1A charger it would take over 14 hours to charge. In the first picture you can see that the iWALK charger is being charged at 16 Watts (it is hard to see the "W" in the picture).Using a battery charge time calculator you will find that the iWALK device should charge from 0 in about 4.4 hours. Which is what I have observed. The second photo shows my S22 phone being charged at 17 Watts. I believe the phone has 3700 mAH so it would charge fully in 1.5 hours. Which is very close to what I have observed. The Charger is made of a durable plastic (probably ABS) and has a "soft" finish. What I would like to see is the availability to purchase addition small units and carrying/protective cases.

The good, the bad and the rest

Who doesn't appreciate a good power bank, and this one appears decent enough. Right away I noticed the weight and size were nice. It's heavier than many others, weighting in at roughly at 286 grams or 10.1 ounce when together. Obviously the weight is primarily in the larger section, being about 2 to 1 weight. Or, 6.8 ounces and 3.3 ounces respectfully. To get started I checked and saw it only had 23% charge. It came with a type C to C charging cord, a little over 3feet long. I was surprised with how slow it charges. Maybe that's indicative of it's size, but being on the charger for an hour it only went up to 25%. So prepare well in advance. I ended up falling asleep and the next morning it was ready to go. About 12 hours all told.Charging my various items with it, it seems to work fine. But again, it seems to work very slowly compared to others I have. I know it claims to charge an Iphone super fast, but I don't have one, instead I have a samsung and it was not what I would call fast. It was on my Galaxy tab 9 for about 2.5 hours while I was using it, just letting it run an idle game for testing and it stayed at a constant, neither charging nor losing. This caused the meter to go from 99% to 82%. (I was just using the smaller portion)When testing without actively using the items it took about 2 hours to charge my phone from 35% to full. It only dropped from 82% to 75% so it does hold a lot of juice, just takes a while to get it from one place to another. For the phone, I was using the bank connected into 1 piece.I do find it odd that it specifically remarks on charging Iphone, but it only has 1 usb A port(out only) and 1 usb C port (in and out)on the main, and only one type C charger on the smaller section. No lightning charger or wall block included. Be aware of that if your needs are for different in/out ports. So am I happy I have it, sure. I mean essentially 2 power banks in 1 is a nice feature. Is it the best one I have, no, not really. Is it worth giving it a try, sure.Peace and charged phones

A great portable power bank charger!

This iWalk LinkPod Plus is a great portable power bank charger. I love the unique charging dock design, so when you’re done charging your phone, you dock the charger into the “case” to charge back up so it’s ready to go for next time, with a very satisfying magnetic snap to hold securely. You can also plug devices directly into the case to charge more than one device at a time, including devices that don’t have usb-c ports. I love the digital battery life display on the case as well. The quality is top notch too. It has a premium soft touch surface and it feels really nice to hold. I like that the usb-c connection that plugs into your phone has a long enough “neck” to securely plug into phones with cases, at least that is my experience. I’ve used chargers in the past with no neck that could not reach thru the port hole, forcing me to take the case off to charge. I don’t have this problem with this charger.Another premium aspect is the packaging it comes in - it’s a really nice box that makes you feel like you bought a quality product when opening. The only drawback to this design is that while it’s plugged into your phone, there is a good amount of weight hanging off the charging port, so you need to be extra careful not to put too much pressure there to snap it off or damage the port. One thing that would make this charger nearly perfect would be if the “case” doubled as a wireless charger. If they come out with an upgraded version of this product with wireless charging, I’d buy it instantly.

lots of power storage

One thing i did notice is that it took awhile to charge up. I suppose this is because it is a relatively large power bank. It pulls apart into two pieces, the main unit and the smaller unit that you attach to your phone by way of usb c. There really is a lot of storage here for charging. This would be an excellent unit to take traveling where you might have to go for some time without the ability to recharge your phone, like a bike tour. Paired with a solar charger you could probably go camping for quite some time and still be able to recharge your phone or other device. This is one of the largest capacity power banks for phones that i have seen, yet is relatively lightweight and would be worth its weight. Probably an excellent choice if you have to go for a few days without an outlet.
