My daughter likes this mini portable charger for iPhone and it is very practical. This is the must-have device to carry and is small enough to fit in your bag. It is also easy to use and charge.
This is very solid and sturdy, while also being compact. It charges the phone fast and doesn't take too long to recharge itself. I have a larger portable charger with cables attached to it, but I find myself using this way more often. It's easier to bring with me and it makes using the phone while charging it so much better. You hardly notice it's there. I like that it has an attached cover so when you aren't using it, it's protected, and it folds back and out of the way so easily. This is a great value for the price and it just functions well.
I have always used portable chargers for the convenience and portability they provide. This LinkPod charger is similar to a charger my wife uses, but has a nice feature that includes the cap being tethered to the charger so you don't end up losing it. My wife's charger is missing the top (that protects the lightning plug) where this LinkPod charger solves that problem. The charger came partially charged and it took me approximately 45 minutes to get the 3 LED lights to show full. The charger came with a USB-C cable for charging and is ready for use.
so, this company has clearly invested a bit in their packaging and branding ... unlike many other random electronics that come in forgettable boxes, this one is cute, nicely designed and made of Cupertino level materials ... almost the way Samsung started making fancy phone packages to mimic apple. So so, I was expecting some really nice features and usability ease -- well not the case at all.First off, I get why everything is USB c -- but given that we still have old phones that need lightning ports, why is the charger C to C, it should have a lightning on the end so I can just charge my phone regularly. and not have to flip cords back and forth. Also, its confusing what you need to turn on/off to charge your phone on the bank ... I tried this with my phone totally off and it went from 90 to 94 in a few minutes. But with my phone on, it was stuck on 93 for like 20 minutes. Maybe with such a high charge and the phone on, it wont really budge ...Also, the on off button on the bank -- well still not sure what it does. It supposed to kinda flip it to charge your phone, but it doesnt really do that. As mentioned, even with the little bolt icon on my phone screen, it did not move ... but the leds on the bank were flashing showing that was gettin juiced. The instructions also say -- it will charge your phone fully first, then the bank ... BUT, I think this is reversed. It charges the bank then your phone. You might be asking, why all the complaints ... well, I dont want to have to charge this separately, and wanted to just have this like an adapter on my existing cord I used to charge my phone. So so so, if that was what you were hoping -- look again, it's too confusing and complicated to use this for that. And and, well, the little cap to the lighting nib is really really flimsy, attached by a little piece of plastic. If you are planning to huck this around a bag, I can tell you that will fall off and the nib will be exposed ... maybe spend an extra 10 bucks, and get one that put more money into design and less into the box ... others even have displays with charge meters on them.small, cute and works, but could be better.
